In House Training at SteamMaster

David Gardoni, Restoration Manager of SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning conducted an in-house Water Damage Restoration Class for our lead water technicians on Friday, December 15th, 2009.

David reviewed the Water Damage Restoration procedures and gave specific instructions on identifying affected areas in a water loss, taking temperature, humidity and grains per pound readings in a loss.

The use of Hydrosensor, Penetrating and non-penetrating meters and Thermo-hygrometers were also elaborated upon.

David also brought in several models of LGR dehumidifiers and talked about each one of them. David mentioned about the importance of taking time for proper dryout readings and applying the science of proper and effective drying.

Even though most of SteamMaster's technicians are familiar with most of the dryout techniques, it was very refreshing to hear David's presentation and insightfull thoughts.

Several questions came from the technicians and a great dialog pursued. At the end of the meeting everyone thank David and was appreciative of David's time and energy taken for the in-house training he conducted.
